Detailed Itinerary

Day 1- Arrive Mumbai

Gateway of India, Mumbai Arrive Mumbai by transnational flight, after a traditional’ Swagat'( hello) our representative would help you at the field & transfer to hotel for check- heft. Mumbai, an archipelago of seven islets. Vestiges set up that these islets had been inhabited since the Stone Age & proved substantiation of mortal habitation dates back to 250 BC. In the 3rd century BC, the islets formed part of the Maurya Empire. In 1534, Portuguese appropriated islets from the king of Gujarat, later ceded to Charles II of England in 1661, as dowry for Catherine de Braganza. Day 2- Mumbai

Full Day Tour- Today we take a City stint of Mumbai visiting Gateway of India, the entrance to the harborage of Mumbai. It was erected to commemorate the visit of King George V in 1911. Across the road we visit Prince Wales Museum, erected in a convergence of Gothic & Moorish styles. It boasts a collection of ancient Indus Valley vestiges dating 2000 BC, plus some priceless Tibetan & Nepali Art. Later we took the boat voyage from Gateway of India to visit Elephanta grottoes, houses gemstone cut tabernacles dating back to 5th century CE. It was named by the Portuguese, after the statue of a giant near the wharf area of the islet. We also drive through the Marine Drive, which runs along the reinforcement of the Arabian Sea from Nariman Point past Chowpatty Beach to the bottom of Malabar Hill. Overnight Hotel- Mumbai.

Day 3- Mumbai - Ahmedabad

Moment we take a flight to Ahmedabad, Located on the banks of the River Sabarmati, the megacity is the executive center of Ahmedabad quarter & was the capital of Gujarat from 1960 to 1970 after which the capital was moved to Gandhinagar. The megacity is occasionally called Karnavati, a name for an aged city that was in the same position; in colloquial Gujarati, it’s generally called Amdavad. The megacity was innovated in 1411 to serve as the capital of the Sultanate of Gujarat, by its namesake, Sultan Ahmed Shah. Under British rule, a military cantonment was established & the megacity structure was modernized & expanded.

Half Day Tour- latterly we take guided tours visiting Kirks, Jumma Masjid, Described by some as the most beautiful synagogue in India, the congregational synagogue was erected by the megacity’s author, Sultan Ahmed Shah in 1423. erected in unheroic sandstone, it combines the stylish of Hindu & Muslim styles of armature. It stands on 260 pillars supporting 15 polls at varying elevations. The synagogue is located in the center of the old megacity. Sidi Syed Mosque, One part of the wall in the old stronghold of the synagogue erected by Ahmed Shah’s slave, Sidi Sayed, is celebrated each over the world for its exquisite gravestone window tracery- a superb illustration of delicate figure that transforms gravestone into filigree. Shaking minarets, two minarets located at the Siddhi Bashir synagogue . They’re uniquely designed in a way that when one minaret is shaken the other one shakes too. Overnight Hotel- Ahmedabad.

Day 4- Ahmedabad

Sabarmati Ashram, Ahmedabad Half Day Tour- Today we visit the Hutheesing Jain Temple, erected outside Delhi Gate in 1850 by a rich Jain trafficker, the Hutheesing Temple is the stylish known of Ahmedabad’s numerous ornate Jain tabernacles. erected of pure white marble & profusely decorated with rich busts, the Hutheesing Temple is devoted to Dharamnath. Within the megacity there are numerous other Jain tabernacles with remarkable busts in gravestone & wood. Also visit the Sabarmati Ashram set up by Mahatma Gandhi, a simple retreat in 1915. This was his first Satyagraha Ashram & for numerous it was the whim-whams center of India’s freedom movement. Hridaya Kunj, the cabin where he lived is saved as it was in the Mahatma’s continuance. The Gandhi Ashram has a honorary center, library & a sound & light spectacle to offer its callers. Overnight Hotel- Ahmedabad.

Day 5- Ahmedabad| Wankaner( 235 km- 7 hr)

The moment we drive to Wankaner, literally means a bend on the sluice & it’s located on the bend of the Machchhu River. Sartanji innovated the kingly State of Wankaner in the time of 1605 announcement & the city was fortified in the late 18th century for protection against the bandits & neighboring adversaries. King Amarsinhji, a noble sovereign , who made Wankaner a rich megacity- state, ruled Wankaner over till 1947 announcement. Afternoon megacity stint of Wankaner includes a visit to the miraculous 1907 Ranjit Vilas Palace. Overnight Hotel- Wankaner.

Day 6- Wankaner

Moment we take a partial day Excursion to Rajkot, innovated in the time 1612 by Thakur Saheb Vibhaji Ajoji Jadeja of Jadeja clan. Vibhaji was grandson of Jam Sataji of Nawanagar, present- day Jamnagar. During British Rule, it was a indigenous headquarters. Mahatma Gandhi spent his early times in Rajkot while his father was a Diwan to one of the Saurashtra Nawab, & the house where Gandhi lived is now a gallery named Kaba Gandhi No Delo.

Excursion Tour- Rajkot latterly we take a guided Tour visiting Kaba Gandhi No Delo, house of Mahatma Gandhi( Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi) now a gallery. His father, Karamchand Gandhi was known as Kaba Gandhi. The words Kaba Gandhi No Delo means Kaba Gandhi’s hearthstone. Watson Museum & library The Watson Museum & Library, located in the Jubilee auditoriums, commemorated Colonel James Watson, political agent of Saurashtra from 1886- 89. The gallery is a good preface to Saurashtra’s artistic heritage. The entrance is adjoined by two Homeric Napoleons. Among the shows are clones of vestiges from Mohanjodaro, 13th century busts, tabernacle statues, natural history exhibits, & dioramas of original ethical costumes & casing styles. There’s a huge marble statue of Queen Victoria seated on the throne. Rashtriya Shala, innovated by Mahatma Gandhi & is a center of patola weaving.

Later we witnessed the Royal heritage of Wankaner in its palaces & castles. Overnight Hotel- Wankaner.

Day 7- Wankaner- Gir( 160 km- 5 hr)

Junagarh Fort Today we drove to Sasan Gir, En- route we visited Junagadh, which literally means an ancient stronghold. The Junagadh city is located at the foothills of the sacred hill of Girnar & occupies a special place in the history of Gujarat. The history of Junagadh is checkered by the autocrats of the Mauryans, Kshatrapas, Guptas, Vallabhis, Chudasamas & others. Both political powers & religious influences amended the culture & created fantastic edifices leaving architectural marks. We visit Uparkot Fort, notorious for its virtual attainability, Ashoka’s Rock fiats, fourteen Rock fiats of the Emperor Ashoka can be seen inscribed on a great boulder. The eulogies carry Brahmi script in Pali language & dates back to 250 BC. On the same gemstone are eulogies in Sanskrit. Damodar Kund, named after Krishna, whose water is said to be sacred due to its property of dissolving bones of dead brought for the absorption. hardly there’s Shri Mahaprabhuji’s Bethak. Day 8- Gir

Sasan Gir, best known as being the sole home of the pure Asiatic Lions( Panthera leo persica). The Sanctuary, the area is considered to be one of the most important defended areas in Asia due to its supported species. Established in the year 1965, moment is the sustaining ecosystem of Gir, with its different foliage & fauna. The timber area of Gir & its Napoleons were declared as” defended” in the early 1900’s by the Nawab of the kingly state of Junagadh. This action redounded in the conservation of the Napoleons whose population had declined to only 15 through bloodbath for jewel stalking.  A moment before breakfast we took a Jeep safari to the National Park. It has the distinction of being the only retreat to the last surviving majestic Asiatic Lions( Panthera leo). piecemeal from the Asiatic Lions, the Park is also home to a large number of cougars, Hyenas, Deer, the world’s only 4- horned Antelope, Blue Bull, Wild Boar & the dangerous Marsh Crocodile. Day 9- Gir - Rajkot ( 155- 5 Hrs)

Moment we drive to Rajkot to take a flight to Mumbai. Depart Mumbai- Transfer.
