Detailed Itinerary:
Heritage Site that greets you with its intricately carved temples, rock-cut caves, and monolithic structures.
After having your hearty South Indian breakfast, start exploring Five Rathas (Five Chariots), dedicated to the Five Pandava brothers at Mahabalipuram. They are carved out of a single stone, but each of them is unique from the other. Then, check in at the hotel and relax for some time.
Later, visit Shore Temple, which is situated on the shores of the Bay of Bengal. The Arjuna Penance, Cave Temple, and Krishna Butter Ball will leave you mesmerized. Also, explore the India Seashell Museum. It is lauded as the biggest seashell museum in the whole of Asia and also the largest of its kind in India.
Later, head back to your hotel for an overnight stay after having a delicious dinner at your preferred hotel in Mahabalipuram.

After having a scrumptious South Indian breakfast, drive to Pondicherry. After reaching Pondicherry/Puducherry, check in at the hotel and relax for a while.
